Have you ever heard of the Vegvisir? What about the “viking compass?” Have you wondered about the strange symbols that are riddled throughout Iceland’s history? Learn about these symbols, and why they aren’t actually so “Viking”! From the history of staves, their uses, and how to make them, this lecture and workshop will dive deep into their interesting lives throughout Iceland. Taught by Zella Makela.

Create your own pine oil or tincture for your hair, skin, or more! In this class, you will learn about the medicinal and cosmetic uses of various pine needles, and the historic uses of Pine. Each person will be provided 3 2oz dropper bottles to create their custom pine oils and tinctures. Perfect for the winter season!
